Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is with deep regret that I must convey the cancellation of the Keloid Symposium scheduled to occur on May 10-12, 2024, in Seoul, South Korea. The decision arises from the ongoing strikes among physicians in Korea, which have not only severely disrupted healthcare services but have also impacted the logistical feasibility of hosting our symposium in Seoul. After months of diligent preparation, the organizing committee finds it imperative to cancel the event under these circumstances.

We recognize the significant inconvenience this cancellation may cause to our esteemed attendees and speakers, many of whom have conscientiously made arrangements to participate in the symposium. It is particularly disheartening as one of the primary motivations for hosting the meeting in Korea was to facilitate the participation of Korean physicians. However, given the current circumstances, it has become evident that the absence of Korean speakers and attendees would undermine the essence of our gathering.

Efforts are underway to secure an alternative venue and dates for the next Keloid Symposium. We assure you that once finalized; this information will be promptly communicated to all stakeholders. Our commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the field of keloid research and treatment remains unwavering.

We understand the disappointment this situation may bring, and in light of the cancellation, we are committed to refunding all registration fees. We extend our sincerest apologies for any disruption caused by this unforeseen circumstance and express our gratitude for your understanding and continued support. Should you have any inquiries or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
