Jack L Arbiser

Jack L Arbiser, MD, Ph.D. is the Thomas Lawley Professor of Dermatology and member of the Winship Cancer Institute. He received a BS/MS in organic chemistry at Emory University and an MD/Ph.D. from Harvard Medical School. He completed internship at Bostons Beth Israel Hospital, dermatology residency at the Harvard program, and a Howard Hughes Postdoctoral Fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Judah Folkman. He has been on the Emory faculty since 1998, and his laboratory focuses on small molecule drug development for dermatologic and oncologic indications. He is co-founder of Accuitis, which has completed a Phase 2A clinical trial of a topical proteasome inhibitor, and ABBYMed, which is developing an NADPH oxidase inhibitor for brain tumors. Dr. Arbiser has published several articles on the signal transduction of keloids.
