Dr. Eva Kerby received her undergraduate degree from Duke University and her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her internship in internal medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and her dermatology residency at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Kerby is an assistant professor of clinical dermatology at Weill Cornell and is the founder and director of the Weill Cornell Dermatology Center for Diverse Skin Complexions (CDSC). Her clinical and research focus is keloids. She is currently working in collaboration with Dr. Michael Tirgan on a retrospective study of keloid disorder. She is also actively working on establishing a keloid research program at Weill Cornell.
