Jonathan Ho is a Lecturer and Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist in the Departments of Medicine and Pathology at the University of the West Indies (U.W.I.), Mona Campus, Jamaica. Dr. Ho received his MBBS degree from the University of the West Indies, going on to complete his dermatology and dermatopathology training in the International Graduate Training Program in Dermatology, at Boston University School of Medicine. He holds a Doctor of Science in Dermatology, where his thesis work examined fibroblast CD34-to-C90 transition in reparative scars, hypertrophic scars, and keloids. Dr. Ho currently serves as Co-Director for the Dermatology residency program and directs the Dermatopathology service at the U.W.I. He has authored several papers in peer-reviewed journals related to both clinical dermatology and dermatopathology. His current research focuses on disease patterns and expression in Jamaica’s predominantly Afro-Caribbean population.
