In addition to its clinical mission, the department has also become a leading academic and training center, mentoring the next generation of pediatric dermatologists and dermatologic surgeons. It plays an active role in national research initiatives and regularly contributes to peer-reviewed publications, clinical trials, and international collaborations focused on advancing the science and practice of pediatric dermatology.
